  • Not feminism: You're giving up your career to have a baby? You're being dictated to by a man! That's the wrong choice! You've slept with twenty men? Wow, way to show that you have no respect for yourself.
  • Feminism: Women and men are equal. No-one should be discriminated against on the basis of their gender. Women have the right to decide how to live their life, how to dress, what to do with their body and who to love.

Fox News is basically a kid that bullies the new kid for being new and different but then when the new kid starts to settle in is all “HEY DO YOU WANT TO COME TO MY BDAY PARTY YOU SEEM LIKE GREAT AND SUCCESSFUL NOW THAT OTHER PEOPLE LIKE YOU.”

I wish people wouldn’t just see me as the Asian girl who beats everyone up, or the Asian girl with no emotion. People see Julia Roberts or Sandra Bullock in a romantic comedy, but not me. You add race to it, and it became, ‘Well, she’s too Asian’, or, ‘She’s too American’. I kind of got pushed out of both categories. It’s a very strange place to be.
